About the author
Henrik Hillerström
Although not a major DNA-mix himself because both his parents come from Sweden, Henrik is still very much a Grooters as he was born in Sydney and grew up in international Geneva which is the main setting of The Grooters book series.
At school, he had many friends who were true Grooters with parents from different countries, which inspired him to write this book series. And meeting Grooters is almost a daily occurrence in Geneva.
Henrik then went on to study business administration in St. Gallen, then worked in finance for a few years before backpacking around the world for a year. After that life-changing world travel, he built an extensive website for holistic health, and has now lived and worked in eight different countries.
Recently, he decided to head back to the school bench to study town planning, sustainability, and architecture.
As a Swede he loves music, as a Swiss chocolate, and as an Aussie kangaroos and eucalyptus trees.
Henrik currently lives in Malmö, Sweden.
